Hex Converter
Decode a hex string into ASCII, binary, 32/64-bit float and 16/32/64-bit UINT/INT in every byte order (ABCD, DCBA, BADC, CDAB). Also converts values back to hex.
Runs entirely in your browser. Your data is never sent to a server.
How to use and notes
- Paste a hex string; spaces, commas and a 0x prefix are accepted.
- Data is split into consecutive 2, 4 and 8-byte groups, and each group is shown in every byte order.
- ABCD is big-endian, DCBA is little-endian, BADC and CDAB are the byte or word swapped orders many Modbus devices use for floats and 32-bit integers.
- Use the "Value to hex" tab for the reverse direction, for example to send the float 42.5 to a Modbus register.
